Website for Artist Michael Tilley
August 2011 | Website Design, Development. We recently finished a web project for Tokyo-based artist Michael Tilley. Wanting a clean and easy-to-navigate site that would highlight the artist's wide range or work, we created a clean grid structure that eliminated all extraneous elements. View website >
RediDesk Strategy & Identity

Custom Colnago
October 2010 | Concept, Graphic design, Production management. This custom designed Colnago fixed-great track bike was created to celebrate DC's bid for two stages of the Giro d'Italia in 2012. Working with the ribbon-like aspects of each flag, we created a design that celebrated the historic opportunity of being the first city and first Grand Tour to hold an event outside of Europe. The bike was subsequently signed by the most recent wearer of the Maglia Rossa, Christian Vande Velde, and auctioned at the National Italian American Foundation's Annual Black-tie Gala. Thanks to Ronny at Airglow for the paint work, Jennifer Green for the head tube badge and Paul Morse for the photography. Read Case Study >
Campaign Concepts
July 2010 | Strategy, Print collateral. This past summer we had the privilege of working with the Fenty campaign on some new positioning strategies and print collateral concepts. While there was a lot written about the Mayor's position as being rather hard-nosed, our research and communications staff chose to focus on the core emotional component: the Mayor's firm belief that he had a real responsibility to produce tangible change. While timing prevented the campaign from actually running, it is one of the projects that certainly made us think, "What if...?"
CapCrit Poster
July 2010 | Print collateral. This 27 x 40 movie-style poster was created as part of the launch of the Capital Criterium's new 2010 brand identity. The poster was featured in various areas in DC and limited edition versions signed by the most recent Maglia Rossa wearer Christian Vande Velde were also created.
CapCrit brand identity
July 2010 | Naming, Tagline, Brand strategy, Identity, Website, Print collateral, Merchandise, Signage, Advertising, Sponsorship packages, Event planning, Documentation. The Capital Criterium, affectionately shortened to CapCrit, is DC's only professional cycling event. First launched in 2008, and subsequently postponed in 2009 for lack of a sponsor, we worked with the client to upgrade the entire brand identity and make the package more accessible to potential sponsors and the public alike. We worked with some great partners as well: The Washington Convention and Sports Authority, ABC7/WJLA-TV and TBD, Don Beyer Volvo, CycleLife and g4 Productions, one of the best cycling event producers in the business. CapCrit 2011 is slated for October 2 and will be the final stop for both the USA Cycling National Racing Calendar and the USA Crits Series. View Website | Read Case Study >

The Giro d'Italia, along with Tour de France and the Vuelta a España, make up the three Grand Tours of professional cycling.
Giro d'Italia Bid Book
February 2010 | Copywriting, Print collateral. This custom book was designed as a gift to be given out to guests at DC's kickoff event to bring two stages of the Giro d'Italia to the city in 2012 held at the Embassy of Italy. The Giro, one of the three Grand Tours of cycling along with the Tour de France and Vuelta a España, has never started outside of Europe.
